Ekstrom-Carlson offers 4 different coolant / lubricants:
Mistic Mist II Concentrate Synthetic Lubricant (20:1 to 50:1 Water Mix Ratio)
"Mistic Mist" Concentrate is a synthetic fluid, compounded especially for spray mist applications. It is fortified with high-tech rust inhibitors for complete protection of parts and machines. Special biocide additives are used to prevent bacteria and odor due to tramp oil contaminants. Product is an non-hazardous industrial chemical. Under normal use and dilution, it is not irritating to skin. Product is non-flammable, biodegradable, and can generally be disposed of thru sewer in compliance with acceptable local, state and federal regulations. Dilute from 50:1 to 20:1 with tap water, depending on application, machining severity, metal type, and desired finish. A good starting point is 4 oz. concentrate into one gallon of tap water, this equals 30:1 mixture.

Mistic Mist Lubra HD Heavy Duty Concentrate (Typically 20:1 Water Mix Ratio)
Developed for flood cooling applications and heavy-duty spray mist lubrication needs. "Mistic Lubra HD" Heavy Duty Concentrate incorporates all of the above features found in our Mistic Mist concentrate, except with enhanced lubricity properties to perform in heavier duty machining applications

Mistic Mist V-Lube Vegetable / Organic Formula (Not to be mixed with water)
Heavy duty boundary and extreme pressure lubricants for tough machining applications. Advanced non-hazardous vegetable oil blend lubricant. Refined one extra step to remove impurities and oxidation compounds. Contains no hazardous ingredients per OSHA Rule 29 CFR 1910.1200. Typically used for micro lubrication mist with micro, drip, and limited flow misters.
- Effective in small amounts – as little as a few ounces per eight hour shift to cool and lubricate.
- Anti-Friction Formula – provides heavy duty boundary and extreme pressure lubricants between cutter and work piece.
- Improved finishes and cutter life

100% Synthetic non-hazardous formulation – no oils or hazardous ingredients per OSHA Rule 29 CFR 1910.1200. Typically used for micro lubrication mist with micro, drip, and limited flow misters.
