High Precision Air-clamping System:

Precision air-clamping systems can be used for specific applications and / or to increase production rates for high precision parts. They are typically used in stationary milling, rotating equipment or lathe turning, grinding, boring, precision measuring, gripping, parts placement, inspection, material handling, robot, edm and other applications.

The most common diameters range between 25mm and 250 mm with typical 2 or 3 clamping jaw stroke from 0.7 to 3 mm diameter. Larger sizes are available with special jaws and special fittings (swivel joints, quick change, coolant thru, thru holes, larger stroke, etc...). We are very flexible to meeting customer needs.

The BC chuck allows the piston to move the AFT back and forth with every open / close action. This is suitable for monitoring opening and closing of the chuck for safety purposes. No coolant can pass thru the body in the BC chuck. The NBC chuck allows no movement of the piston (inside operation) of the AFT, so there can be no monitoring applied. This is more stable for high speed applications and coolant is allowed thru the chuck body.

coolant thru the spindle bore around the air chuck or through the center of the air chuck.

Chucks provide both, internal and external-clamping capability. Hard, or soft jaws can be

used.

Reliability of Life-time and Maintenance Free

Continuous use without loss of clamping accuracy is standard. Chucks lasting more than 20

years is not abnormal.
